Basic Rules


Full instructions on the rules, safety & the use of equipment will be given on the day!

  • NEVER remove your eye protection (goggles) outside the safe zone - You could loose your eyesight.
  • No physical contact (I.E. butting with the gun, rugby tackles etc.).
  • If you are marked with paint you must return to the safety zone, unless told otherwise.
  • If you are shot out while carrying the flag (during capture the flag games) you must immediately drop the flag on the floor.
  • Headshots do NOT count (except under tournament rules).
  • Bounce-offs do not count (I.E. if the paint does not burst on impact. Call for a "paint-check" from the marshal, but do not raise your hand above your head as you are then declaring yourself as dead.
  • Dead men don't talk (I.E. give away their opponents numbers and/or position to their own team).
  • No firing your gun outside the netted-off playing area or the practice range!

Etiquette:


  • Do not shoot somebody in the head on purpose.
  • Call yourself out and return to the safety zone if you are marked with paint.
  • Offer your opponent the chance to surrender if you sneak up close without them seeing you.
  • Do not shoot the wildlife - they can't shoot back
  • Do not shoot the marshals - they are here to make sure you have a good day & that the games are played fairly - If the marshal is in your line of fire, ask them to move before firing & please give them a direction to go, IE. go left, go right or get down.
